Manager / Senior Manager – Litigation Valuation
I’m partnering with a highly regarded, fast-growing financial advisory firm to appoint a Manager or Senior Manager into their expanding Litigation Valuation team.
This is a standout opportunity for professionals with experience in commercial litigation, forensic accounting, and valuation-led disputes who are looking to step into a highly visible, client-facing role with real ownership and progression.
Location: Utah | Texas | Oklahoma | Los Angeles (CA)
The Role:
You’ll sit at the centre of complex litigation matters, working closely with senior leadership while driving the execution of engagements.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Join client calls and case strategy discussions with senior stakeholders
- Project manage litigation engagements end-to-end – from scoping through to delivery
- Take ownership of draft expert reports (~80% completion) for final review
- Lead financial analysis, valuation work, and damages assessments
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a defensible standard
You’ll gain exposure across a wide range of disputes, including:
- Commercial litigation
- Shareholder disputes
- Forensic investigations
- Economic damages & loss quantification
(Experience in divorce or personal injury cases is welcome but not essential.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver litigation valuation engagements with accountability for quality and timelines
- Perform business valuations, forensic analysis, and damages modelling
- Prepare and review expert witness reports and financial evidence
- Analyse financial statements, tax records, contracts, and industry data
- Work directly with attorneys, corporates, and expert witnesses
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Support business development and client growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience (Senior Manager) in litigation valuation, forensic accounting, or disputes consulting
Technical Expertise
- Experience preparing expert and rebuttal reports
- Strong grounding in valuation methodologies (income, market, asset-based)
- Advanced financial modelling and damages analysis capability
Communication
- Ability to present complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to attorneys, clients, and courts
- Exceptional analytical writing skills, particularly for expert witness reports and legal documentation
Leadership & Collaboration
- Proven ability to lead engagements, manage teams, and mentor junior professionals
- Experience working with law firms, corporate executives, and dispute resolution teams
